East vs. West

The year is 1955. More than ten long years have passed since the Second World War ended, and the world lives in fear of a Third. The world is split between two ideologically opposed blocs. In the east lie the communist states of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, along with China. In the west stand the capitalist democracies of Western Europe and the United States. From the icy Arctic to the jungles of Vietnam, the conflict between the blocs makes itself felt in all corners of the globe. The blocs in a massive state of tension with each other, a 'Cold War', of sorts, and the world wonders if it will ever go hot... A new chapter of history is unfolding, and it will be up to you to write it.
