The Scottish Parliament
"The Scottish Parliament, adjourned on the 25th day of March in the year 1707, is hereby reconvened." These were the words of The Secretary of State for Scotland and Liberal MP for Greenock Sir Godfrey Collins as he announced the reconvening of the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. Closed since the Act of Union in 1707, the reconvening represented for many a political dream that they had fought for their entire political lives. The official reconvening took place in the General Assembly Hall at New College Edinburgh while plans for a new parliamentary building are considered.
With this Parliament Scotland will stand strongly with the Commonwealth
The first step on the road to a truly free Scotland
Scotland breaks away from the Commonwealth
The Scots are attempting to break away from the Commonwealth. What are we going to do about it?
If that is their wish then there is nothing we can do.
We will send in the tanks just like in 1919!
A parliament fit for Scotland
We must now choose where to place our parliament.
Edinburgh is the natural choice.
Glasgow in the heart of Red Clydeside
Perth is the ancient seat of the Scottish State and where we can find strength
It is in the landed estates of the Highlands that true power resides, Inverness is best
